Already present in the capital since June 2019, we made the decision at the end of 2021 to open a store in Marseille! Don't worry, it follows the same principle as its big brother: far from a typical store or "shop," we offer more of a kitesurf and wingfoil "concept store" where the keywords are a great atmosphere, kindness, and conviviality!
What do we offer? Kitesurf and wingfoil equipment rental (all rental options are detailed further in the article!), as well as guaranteed 6-month used equipment sales!
And we also offer you a little beer starting from 5 PM ;)

The big news for 2023 is that we now offer surfboards, longboards, and paddleboards for rent. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, you can now rent surf equipment at our Marseille boutique! Where is it located? Our "local," as we like to call it, is located at 14 Place Amiral Muselier, 13008 (right next to the statue of David!)

While this location is much larger than its Parisian counterpart (and therefore the bar too ;) ), the services offered in Marseille will remain the same. Here's a quick summary:
Rental of all types of kitesurf and wingfoil equipment, regardless of the desired duration. We offer three types of rental services:
What we call "daily/weekly rentals", allowing you to choose the exact rental duration that suits you (similar to ski rentals). As an added bonus, you can pick up your equipment the day before your first rental day and return it the day after! Enjoy those sunset sessions!
Monthly rentals: you can rent the equipment you want (with an infinite number of available packs) on a monthly basis (with a minimum commitment of 2 months and a 2-week notice period). The principle here is similar to bike rentals like "Swapfiets" or "Veligo." The advantage of this offer? Not only is it financially advantageous (e.g., Kite + bar + board for €199/month), but you can also keep the equipment at home for extended periods and use it without limits. It's like owning your own equipment, without the hassles (depreciation, outdated used gear, end-of-season resale, etc.). It's also very convenient for learning new disciplines like wingfoiling, where you quickly need to change equipment!
Equipment leasing with an option to purchase at the end of the contract. Here, it works just like leasing a car. You don't pay less for the equipment, but you spread out the cash flow! And as they say, cash flow is key ;) And of course, all the equipment is from the latest collection!

Used and refurbished equipment sales: at The Ridery, all our equipment is available for rental and used sales at the same time! Depending on the number of times it has been rented, the selling price will decrease.
Our strength/advantage is that we have our equipment checked by an independent repairer before each sale. It is the repairer, independent from us, who assesses the condition of the equipment (good, very good, or like new), repairs it if necessary (reconditions it), and determines its selling price. This allows us to guarantee all our equipment for 6 months, regardless of its condition; a first in the used equipment market! No more hidden issues with peer-to-peer sales on classified websites!

While rental and sales are our flagship services, we offer many others, such as equipment trade-ins, repairs, and "all-inclusive" day trips, among others.

What's the atmosphere like in our store? It's the same as in the capital! We mentioned it briefly at the beginning of the article, but our goal is to create a kitesurf "concept store" that's far from the typical shop. In short: a nice, relaxed place, not overloaded with equipment (just enough to make you dream a little), where you'll always be greeted with a cup of coffee (or a beer, depending on the time) and where you're always welcome to chat about kitesurfing or wingfoiling! Our aim is to make you feel comfortable, just like at home!
