Kitesurf spot: Beauduc

All the information you need to kite there safely

Located at the end of the Camargue, at the end of the Rhone delta, the spot of Beauduc is a bit the end of the world! The final access via a dirt track is the witness of what we will find when we arrive: a vast natural space 🌱
The advantages of Beauduc are numerous. Wind 💨 all the time thanks to its geographical location, sun🌞 and wide open spaces allowing beginners to learn in complete safety.

The little extra is that bivouac is tolerated on the beach! So, do you feel like van life ? 😉

The Wind

You will sail most easily with the Mistral wind in North, North-West and South, South-West direction which will be side. You can also sail with a West wind (on-shore), which implies that you know how to sail upwind.
Attention, the only danger of the spot exists if the wind blows South-East, you will be then off-shore.

Accessibility

From Marseille, it will take 2 hours and 15 minutes to reach the beach of Beauduc. Take the A55 towards Port de Bouc/Fos-sur-Mer then the N568 until the junction with the D268 towards Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône. Then, take the direction of the salines of Giraud by borrowing the "ferry of Barcarin" which is a kind of small obligatory ferry to cross the arm of the Rhone which passes at this place.
You will then finish your road towards Beauduc by taking an unsealed track. At the end of the track you will find space to park.
